In February 1996, Zygote Press first opened its doors to Cleveland artists in a modest space on East 73rd Street, grounded in a simple but powerful vision: affordable access for printmakers. Nearly 30 years later, we are proud to share that Zygote Press has entered an exciting new chapter with the purchase of a permanent home at 3907 Perkins Avenue.
This moment is more than a move — it’s a transformative step forward. Our new facility honors the spirit and history that have shaped Zygote Press while creating space for a more expansive and vibrant future.
On April 10 we opened our new doors to the public. As we celebrate 30 years of serving the community, we look forward to welcoming artists, students, and Zygote members into this new home — where fresh ideas, collaboration, and creativity will continue to thrive.
