Self-Styled Residencies

Zygote Press offers “Self-Styled” artist residencies that are both affordable and enriching. Zygote Press is a nontoxic printmaking studio that has facilities for intaglio, relief, lithography, letterpress, screen printing and RISO.

Residencies include

  • 24/7 access to printmaking studio

  • Printmaking tools, presses, blankets, emulsion, screens, shop ink, digital center access.

  • Flat file, locker

  • Private studio space

  • One hour Shop Orientation

  • Free WiFi

  • Bicycles + free parking

Check-In: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. / Monday – Saturday

Check-Out: 5:00 p.m. Monday – 3:00 p.m. Saturday

    • 3 days: $450.00

    • 1 week: $750.00

    • 2 weeks $1,200.00

To schedule your self-styled residency with Zygote Press fill out the form below and our team will reach out to you to confirm your dates. While Zygote no longer offers onsite housing, there are several affordable Air BNB or hotel accommodations within walking or short driving distance from our studio. If you have additional questions, please email our Shop and Residency Manager elyseherrera@zygotepress.org

You will receive the confirmation email and an invoice for a 30% deposit within 2-3 business days. Your residency will be confirmed and booked after within 10 days of Zygote receiving your deposit.

Zygote Press Self-Styled Residency Cancellation Policy

Full refund of deposit with more than 30 days notice before residency. No refund of paid deposit within 30 days of residency.
