Workshop Title: Block Printing Patterns on Picnic Blankets

Workshop Description: In this one-day workshop, students will learn how to create a repeat pattern, carve their own pattern into a linoleum block, and learn how to register and hand print the blocks onto their very own picnic blanket. At the completion of the workshop, students will have created a unique, hand-printed picnic blanket to use all summer long.

Introducing Zygote’s new monthly Guided Open Studio! Each month, join Program Manager Chandler Mack and some of our fantastic Z Interns for an engaging community event where everyone is welcome. This PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN AND OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY guided studio is for artists from any discipline at any level.

Class Information
Enrollment
If you are interested in a class, don’t wait to sign up! If we do not have enough enrollments, the class will be cancelled and any paid registrations will be refunded. Class enrollment is open to the public, ages 13 and up (unless otherwise specified).
Payment
Tuition and fees are due in full upon registration - you can call, mail or sign-up online. We accept cash, checks, or credit card.

There is free parking available in the lot adjacent to the studio.

Unless otherwise noted, all materials are included. If anything additional is required, you will receive an email shortly after registration.
