Matting and Hinging Works on Paper with Jamye Jamison

Matting and Hinging Works on Paper with Jamye Jamison

Saturday, March 1, 11-4pm

$118 (members: $89) | Limited to 8

Paper is inherently fragile. Proper matting and framing can help protect works on paper from being damaged while on display. This workshop will teach those who would like to frame their own artwork how to do so safely using the most appropriate materials and methods for different types of objects. We will cover various types of hinging methods, options for adhesives, and why archival mat boards really do matter. Join Jamye Jamison, Paper Conservator, for a session of tips and tricks of the trade and leave with a set of samples that will help you make better decisions for how to mat and frame your works on paper.
