Join award-winning illustrators Sequoia Bostick (she/her) and Andy Passchier (they/them) for this one-day Zine Making workshop! Participants will learn about the political history and origins of zines, then look at actual examples of zines - then the instructors will demonstrate several basic formats to construct a zine. Participants will spend the afternoon concepting, hand drawing, and constructing their own zine from start to finish. Participants are encouraged and welcomed to bring their own ideas to the workshops but it is not necessary, prompts will be available and provided to those who need them. No experience required!
