Workshop Description: Join Zygote teaching artist Brittany Hudak for a day of letterpress meditation. Learn how to set wood type by hand, lock it on the press bed, and use one of Zygote’s historic Vandercook presses to print your very own New Year’s affirmation. You will also have the opportunity to use our lino-scribe portable printing press and our Chandler and Price platen press to print your posters, giving you maximum exposure to a variety of letterpress methods. This workshop is the perfect way to explore the world of letterpress while starting your year out on a positive note.
