Printing Mother’s Day Flowers: A Family Friendly Guided Open Studio

Workshop Title: Printing Mother’s Day Flowers: A Family Friendly Guided Open Studio

Teaching Artist: Chandler Mack and Sequoia Bostick + Intern Team

Date(s): Saturday May 9th 12pm-4pm

Workshop Description: This PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN AND OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY guided studio is for artists from any discipline, as well as anyone who wants to explore the world of printmaking (kids too!). Join us for a day of connection and creativity, and make a beautiful gift to give your mom on mother’s day—better yet bring her along! Participants will be guided through a variety of printmaking processes, using multiple workstations in Zygote’s studio, including screenprint, relief, Monoprint and more! Families with young children will be able to print in Zygote’s new kid-friendly community art room! Come by yourself or bring the whole family to explore printmaking methods, make new friends, and take home handmade prints to make your Mother’s Day extra special this year.
